Monthly Meets
First meet: Monday 13th of May 2024.
All types of cars, bikes and trikes are welcome!
The meet will be held on the 2nd Monday of every month throughout the summer!
The event will be held at Grantham Cricket Club, Gorse Ln, Grantham NG31 7UE
The pavilion at the Cricket club will be open for refreshments and food will be available.
Entry is just £2 per vehicle – Pay on the gate.
The event is in honour of our gorgeous son, Christopher Maslin, who loved anything with an engine. The money raised will go towards funding the Chris Maslin Memorial Rally charity event that will be held on the weekend of the 11-13th October 2024.

We are pleased to announce the return of Skeleton Crew to the Rally this year. They will be performing on Friday night alongside other acts.

Sam Bickmore
Get ready to be blown away by the extraordinary talent of young drumming sensation Sam Bickmore! Joining us for the Friday night lineup at the Chris Maslin Memorial Rally, Sam’s electrifying rhythms and dynamic performances are sure to set the stage on fire.
Saturday
We are excited to be welcoming Slingshot to the rally again this year!
SlingShot Monster Truck was owned, built and run by Karl Swallow and his family. Karl started the SlingShot adventures in 2003 when he decided to move forwards from street-legal monster trucks to the real deal.
Unfortunately, Karl passed away in July 2012, and his nephew, Alan Vaughan, took over in the driving seat at only aged 18. Alan is following in Karl’s footsteps and keeping his dream alive.
Come along and see all of the cars and bikes we will have on show at the event!

ChrisFest

The St John’s Winter Singers
The St John’s Winter Singers are a local choir based at St John’s Church, Spitalgate, Grantham.
Run by musical director Helen Winter (founded by her late Father, Geoffrey Winter), the group is in huge demand for weddings, funerals and concert work across Lincolnshire and they are proud to inspire people through music and share the joy of singing.
Helen says ‘We are delighted to be taking part in the Memorial Rally 2024, in memory of Chris Maslin’.

Lady Rose
Lady Rose Duo, an award-winning husband and wife duo from Nottingham, blend Joanne’s powerful yet delicate soul vocals with James’ intricate guitar melodies to create an unforgettable listening experience. They perform with a mix of acoustic guitar, ukulele, electric guitar, bass, and professional backing tracks, offering a versatile full band sound that spans genres and decades.
Recently supporting Alfie Boe and Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox on several UK tour dates, Lady Rose has performed at some of the country’s most prestigious venues. We are thrilled to welcome them back to the rally for the second year running, where their unique and captivating performances are sure to enchant the audience once again.
3pm – 4pm
Dysarts
The Dysarts are a young band from the Grantham area and they are looking for opportunities and any places that want a band to play some tunes. They play their own music which you can listen to on Soundcloud.
We are excited to be giving the dysarts the opportunity to perform at the rally this year. They will be performing their own unique songs for everyone to enjoy.
4:30pm – 5:30pm
Outside Chance
Outside Chance are the ultimate Classic Rock covers band playing all the greats from Chuck Berry to the Rolling Stones.
After last year’s success, we will be welcoming them back to the rally this year to perform some of their best covers
6pm – 7pm
Pembroke Tenneson
We are very pleased to welcome Pembroke Tenneson; a Californian-born singer songwriter playing rock, folk and pop hits from the 20th Century. It’s a real mix of material, from driving blues rhythms to thoughtful lyrical pieces, and plenty of popular singalong hits. There’s something for everyone and lots of half-forgotten gems!
7:30pm – 8:30pm
Andrea’s very own Dolly Parton
Andrea’s very own Dolly Parton tribute act has since been hailed as one of the few tribute acts to do justice to the original songs. Incorporating a natural flair for performance into her act, Andrea’s Dolly Parton tribute act is the next best thing to the original act. Andrea’s unparalleled commitment to her act has seen her swap her broad Geordie accent for a convincing Tennessee twang. Her unbridled enthusiasm for Dolly Parton’s performance does not stop there; since 2011, Andrea has had all her costumes handmade as direct replicas of their originals.
Aside from the television screen, Andrea is often found performing the greatest hits of her idol on private and corporate stages. And we are pleased to be welcome her to the chris maslin memorial rally this year to perform on our stage!

Our headlining band are U2 2!
U2 2 are the world’s longest running U2 show, with over 30 years in the business and are still considered by U2 fans as ‘the’ U2 tribute band to follow and see live.

Senzala Midlands Capoeira
Senzala Midlands was formed by two Capoeiristas (Capoeira players), Tim El-Sheikh and Christos, under the guidance of Mestre Gato and Professor Carousel (Lloyd Howell), one of the founders of Group Senzala Anglia. Tim and Christos joined this group in 2001.
Founded in Rio de Janeiro, Group Senzala has been in existence for nearly 40 years. The group is probably the most famous Capoeira group in the world thanks to its many masters and other technicians teaching Capoeira.

CK Marksmen – Rifle Shooting
The CK Marksmen are a team of dedicated Airsoft game players. We have created and we operate mobile ‘interactive’ shooting ranges with the most up to date electronic targeting systems in use today which allows us to introduce the sport to ‘non players’ in a safe environment.
