Chris Maslin Memorial Rally
Honoring the Life of Christopher Steven Maslin
Welcome to the Chris Maslin Memorial Car and Bike Rally; a celebration of the extraordinary life of a young man whose spirit touched the hearts of many. Born on October 17, 2001, Christopher brought joy and laughter to his family and friends from the very beginning.
From his early years, Christopher’s inquisitive mind and boundless energy were evident to all who knew him. His love for learning led him to explore every avenue, whether it was through his insatiable curiosity or his frequent visits to YouTube for knowledge. Despite facing challenges associated with Asperger’s syndrome, Christopher’s determination and resilience shone through, endearing him to teachers and classmates alike.
It was at Ambergate School where Christopher truly found his place, thanks to the unwavering support of Ashley Carress and the dedicated team. With their guidance, Christopher blossomed, developing his social skills, forging friendships, and achieving remarkable milestones such as his bronze and silver DofE awards.
Christopher’s adventurous spirit extended beyond the classroom, as evidenced by his love for scouting and outdoor activities. From camping trips across the UK to exhilarating adventures in Germany and Switzerland, Christopher embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm and courage, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.
His passion for exploration and discovery was not limited to the outdoors; Christopher also had a keen interest in technology and mechanics. Whether he was offering advice on computer issues or pursuing his dream of becoming a mechanic, Christopher’s work ethic and expertise were undeniable.
But perhaps Christopher’s greatest legacy lies in the bonds he formed and the lives he touched. His infectious smile, witty humor, and boundless generosity endeared him to all who knew him, and his friendships were cherished deeply by those fortunate enough to call him a friend.
As we come together to honor Christopher’s memory, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives and the enduring impact he made on our hearts. Through this rally, we celebrate not only his love for cars and bikes but also his indomitable spirit and the cherished memories we shared with him.
Thank you for joining us in honoring the life of Christopher Steven Maslin, a beloved son, friend, and adventurer whose legacy will forever inspire us.

RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Shelter
Each year the RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Shelter cares for many hundreds of animals as they are brought in by RSPCA Inspectors or members of the public having been found abandoned, injured or as victims of cruelty and abuse. It costs the shelter around £500,000 a year to help local animals. All of our funds are raised locally from members of the public, companies and other organisations. Registered charity number 503759
